Thanks for your reaction.

There are lot of good Icelandic groups and artists.
Since 2007
Björk's new album is out "Volta";
also GusGus has a new album out "Forever".
New album also by Skatar (boy scouts), also Jef Who?, Mammut, Petur Ben, Hafdis Huld, Daniel Agust (both ex-GusGus) have made good albums recently.
Sigur Ros, Mugison, Quarashi and mum have already an international status.
Groups like Trabant, Apparat Organ Quartet, Benni Hemm Hemm and singer Lay Low are getting a lot of attention.
And of course one of my favourites is Bardi Johannsson, he made albums as Bang Gang (You and Something wrong) and with Karen Ann (lady & bird).
Another favourite of mine in Unun (with Dr Gunni, Thor Eldon (ex-husband of Björk) and Heida (now in "Hellvar" trio).
For heavy stuff check out "Minus" (Icelandic hardcore), also a new album (Futurist is the first song of this album) or I adapt (Icelandic punk)
